About the Torp

Our authentic torp of 70 m2, renovated in October 2025, has a spacious living and bedroom, a cozy dining kitchen, bathroom and hall.

Towels, bedding and kitchen textiles are provided free of charge.
Frequency: 1x per week or if shorter, per stay.

In the living room:

​Smoking and pets: 

Smoking and pets are not allowed in the Torp.

Assistance dogs
Are you using an assistance dog? You can indicate this when applying and you are welcome with your assistance dog.

​Good to know

​In the torp:
The ceiling height is 195/200 cm, door passages are low and there are thresholds in the torp.

​​Guest access

The house is at your disposal and is located on our enclosed land (3000 m2), where we live.

Behind the house there is an open, private space with a free view of the meadow where the sheep graze – perfect for quiet moments and enjoying nature.
You are also welcome to use our garden.

Just 200 meters away is a riding school, which gives you a view of the horses. From the garden, a 4 km long forest leads to the next village.

A little further on, at our neighbors, you can buy delicious fresh eggs, about 300 meters away.

​Washing

​The use of the washing machine in the main house can be used for an extra fee.
€ 5 per wash including washing powder/softener/pegs.
Note: there is no dryer available, drying can be done on the line/rack.

Shopping

15 autominutes to the nearest 2 supermarkets  in the town of Torsas.
25 autominutes to a large shopping area in Karlskrona.
45 autominutes to a very large shopping area in Kalmar.

By booking the cottage, you agree to the terms of the landlord Sommargyllen Torpen, including payment and cancellation rules. Read the conditions carefully; they contain important information about the use of the cottage and responsibilities.

2026 Rates

High season June 20, 2026 to August 29, 2026

In the high season, the Torp is rented from Saturday to Saturday for whole weeks.
For shorter stays, you can contact us with your request
